Mitzvah Day 2025
On Sunday 23 November, we transformed our hall into a donations hub for Mitzvah Day – the UK's largest day of faith-based social action.
Volunteers of all ages gave up their time, skills and generosity to support a range of social action projects.
Foodbank essentials, winter clothing and festive gifts were dropped off, sorted and wrapped for local families in need, in partnership with the Doorstep Project.
Participants took part in everything from gift-wrapping and card-making to cooking with Project ImpACT and crafting knitted bunnies for charitable partners.
The scale of donations reflected the community’s extraordinary generosity, and the atmosphere remained energetic throughout the day.
We were also honoured to welcome the Mayor of Camden, Eddie Hanson, who spent time meeting volunteers and seeing the impact of their efforts first-hand.
This year’s Mitzvah Day demonstrated the continued strength of community action at JW3, bringing people together with purpose and making a tangible difference for those who rely on the Foodbank and partner organisations.
